PERINDPRIM PLUS is a combination pharmaceutical formulation containing Perindopril and Indapamide, designed to effectively manage high blood pressure (hypertension). This tablet is developed to target both fluid retention and blood vessel constrictiontwo key factors contributing to elevated blood pressure. By combining a diuretic (Indapamide) and an ACE inhibitor (Perindopril), PERINDPRIM PLUS offers a dual mechanism to help reduce and stabilize blood pressure levels in patients with mild to moderate hypertension.

What is PERINDPRIM PLUS?

PERINDPRIM PLUS contains two active ingredients:

• Perindopril: an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor that helps relax blood vessels and reduce blood pressure by blocking the production of substances that tighten the blood vessels.

• Indapamide: a thiazide-like diuretic that promotes the excretion of sodium and water through the kidneys, helping to reduce fluid volume and thus lower blood pressure.

Perindopril and indapamide are used to treat mild to moderate high blood pressure. Perindopril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor.

Uses of PERINDPRIM PLUS:

• Treatment of mild to moderate essential hypertension (high blood pressure without a known secondary cause)

• May be prescribed when monotherapy with either an ACE inhibitor or diuretic does not provide sufficient blood pressure control

• Dizziness or light-headedness, especially after the first dose

• Dry cough (a known side effect of ACE inhibitors like Perindopril)

• Low potassium levels (hypokalemia)
